In every moment, we have a choice. We can choose fear or we can choose love.
We have many words to express how we feel (angry, envious, joyful, happy) but ultimately they all boil down to two core emotions. Love or fear.
Think about it, it’s impossible to feel both at the same time.
We feel positive emotions from a place of love and we feel negative emotions from a place of fear.
Where there is fear, there is no love.
When there is love, there is no fear.
The fabulous Marianne Williamson sums this up beautifully:
Start becoming aware of negative emotions like anger, blame, resentment and judgement and the impact it’s having on your life.
Each time you become aware of it, ask yourself “what would love do?”
When faced with fears, meet them with love instead. And you will keep love flowing in and out of your life.
Meet anger with compassion and understanding.
Meet hatred with empathy.
Meet scarcity with abundance.
See jealousy as a form of research to tell you what’s important to you.
See envy as a call to action
Throughout this journey you need to learn to bring yourself back to love over and over.
The more you come from a place of love, the easier and more enjoyable this journey will feel.
And beyond this journey, when you come from a place of love, the easier and more enjoyable life will feel.
